Jeffrey E. Pittman

Lake Milton- Funeral services will be at 1 pm Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Jeffrey Pittman of Lake Milton who died Saturday morning at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Jeff was born September 23, 1954 in Warren the son of John A. and Marjorie (Geist) Pittman and was a life long area resident. Jeff retired from WCI Steel in November 2006 after 26 years, he had worked for US Steel Ohio Works prior to WCI. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Berlin Center and the Fatman Club of Lake Milton. His hobbies include NASCAR, Deer Hunting and Old Cars. He enjoyed watching and following the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Jeff graduated from Jackson Milton High School in 1973. He is survived by his parents John and Marjorie from Lake Milton, his wife Pamela (Humphreys) whom he married March 8, 1996, children; Dawn (Antoine) Carissan of Panama City, FL., Lori Pittman of Champion, Adam Pittman of Lake Milton, step children; Tara Pelo of Lake Milton, Jaime Pelo of Niles, grandchildren; Dylan and Rachel Carissan. Jeff is also survived by his brothers; John (Connie) Pittman of Newton Falls, James (Bonnie) Pittman of North Jackson and Jerry (Marie) Pittman of Berlin Center. He was preceded in death by his first wife Fonda (Malmfeldt) whom he married April 11, 1975 and died May 16, 1989. Family and friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home. The family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations to Forum Health at Home Hospice.
