Jennifer Lyn Schippert

LAKE MILTON- Jennifer Lyn Schippert, 36, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at University Hospital in Cleveland surrounded by her family. She was born on August 29, 1978 in Warren, OH, daughter to John and Bonnie (Moore) Schippert. Jen was a 1996 Jackson Milton High School graduate, where she had a passion for playing high school basketball. She attended Youngstown State University and worked as a cook for many local restaurants. Jen had a great love for animals and her dogs Chase, Jasper, Geno, and Pepper always took up a special place in her heart. Her affinity for her dogs earned Jen the affectionate nickname of "Aunt Ruff" from her niece, Kamryn. Left to celebrate Jen's memory is her mother, Bonnie (Mark Schaffer) Schippert; her father, John (Jean) Schippert; her twin sister, Jodi (Jonathan) Moebus; her step-brothers, Scott (Kristina) Schippert and John (Heather) Schippert; her step-sister, Sheila Schippert; and many nieces and nephews. Jen is preceded in death by her grandma, Helen Moore. The family will receive friends from 5:30PM-7:30PM on Thursday, July 23 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave. A memorial service will follow at 7:30PM.
