Jerry M. Wells

AUSTINTOWN- Jerry "Grizzly" M. Wells Jr., 57, of Austintown passed away Wednesday, July 10th 2013. He was born October 24, 1955 in Youngstown to the late Jerry Sr. and Nettie (Calvert) Wells. Jerry was known as the proud owner of Grizzly Lawn Service for 13 years. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. Many know him from the time he spent shooting at the American Range in North Jackson. Jerry was also an amazing grandfather and loved to spoil his grandchildren. He leaves behind his three children, Jerry Wells III, Jennifer (Nathan) McNatt, and Kelly Wells and her fianc Robert Gurule. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Noelle, Mia, Andrew, Allie, Robert (Magen), Adrien, Nicholas, and Tristan; his sisters Cheryl Richardson-Brewton, Yvonne Meade, Teresa Main, Linda Wells, and his brother, Steve Wells; and his 6 nieces and 6 nephews. Jerry is preceded in death by his loving wife of 31 years, Barbara J. (Kanik) Wells. Family will receive friends Friday, July 12, 2013 from 4PM to 7PM at Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Services will take place 10AM Saturday, July 13, 2013. Interment to follow at Green Haven Cemetery.
