Jess R. Cain, Sr.

Jess R. Cain, Sr., age 78, of Warren, Ohio, died on August 31, 2013 at 11:00 PM at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. He was born on March 14, 1935 in Waynesburg, PA, the son of the late Edward and Edith Cain. Mr. Cain worked for 27 years at YSU in the Maintenance Dept. for the Lucy Buchner Hall, retiring in 2011. Survivors include his wife, the former Joan E. Moon, whom he married on April 21, 1955; his children, Carol Cain of Cortland, Rex Cain of Fowler, and Joanie Cain of Austintown; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Fred Cain of North Royalton, and one sister, Mary Ruth Long of Salem. Other than his parents, Jess is preceded in death by his son, Jess R. Cain, Jr. in 1980, and two siblings. There will not be any services or calling hours and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland, Ohio.
