April 23, 1923 — March 27, 2010

Service will be 11 AM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Jesse John Little, 86, of Lake Milton who passed away Saturday evening in Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Jesse was born April 23, 1923 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Jesse E. and Amanda J. (Wilson) Little. Jesse retired from Taylor Winfield Corporation, Warren Ohio in 1986 where he worked as a machinist. He was a U.S. Army Veteran from 1942 to 1957. Jesse, along with his fellow fireman helped build and establish the Craig Beach Fire Department where he served as a Volunteer Fireman for 42 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 737 and the VFW both located in Lake Milton. Jesse stayed active until the time of his death. He will be sadly missed by his dart partner (& Grandson) Dan Siddens, his boating partners: Darlene, Norm and “Lil” Norm Zebosky, his long time friends Dave McCullough and Bob Smith and also the gang from Geneva on the Lake where he spent most of his summer weekends. No One will miss him more though than his Granddaughter Jessie Lynn and her fiancée Donny Zebosky with whom he lived. Jessie Lynn was named after her Grandfather Jesse and they shared a bond of love that will never be replaced. His death is a life changing event for Jessie and also his daughter Kathleen Little, his grandson Jonathan Coffey, his granddaughter JoLynn Peck, his favorite son in law Richard Peck and his “special” grandson Andy Titus. He will be more than missed; he will be honored through them. Jesse was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy I. Little, whom he married October 16, 1958 and who passed away on January 3, 2005. Jesse is also preceded in death by his son Paul Jesse Little and two stepsons; William and Walter Siddens, a brother Paul Little and two sisters Wilma Collins and MaryRose Whitney, two grandchildren Teresa Siddens and Walter “Mooch” Siddens. Jesse is survived by his Daughter Kathleen (Cassie) Little of Canton and Stepson Berle (Charlotte) Siddens of Lake Milton and Daughter in Law Carol Siddens of North Jackson, 16 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. We will all miss you greatly. Friends may call from 5 – 8 pm Wednesday and again from 10 am – 11 am on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
