Jo Ann Mcelhaney

AUSTINTOWN- Jo Ann (Collins) McElhaney, 81 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 15, 2013. She was born on September 22, 1932 to the late Ralph L. and Alice Mae Collins. Jo Ann was a 1950 graduate of Rayen High School. She worked for Ohio Bell for 42 years and belonged to The Pioneers group. Jo Ann enjoyed playing Bingo and cards games with her family. She will always be remembered for the special love she had in her heart for all of her grandchildren. Left to mourn Jo Ann's passing is her loving husband of 58 years, Ronald B. McElhaney of Austintown; her children, Linda (Ryan) Chapman of IN, Kathy (Ed) Marshall of Canfield, and Jill Luli of Hartville; her grandchildren, Eddie, Elizabeth, Tiffany, Brian, Ryan, Gary, and Amanda; 7 great-grandchildren; her brother, Ralph E. Collins; and her sisters, Doris Jean Hudock, Marjorie Dilts, and Judy Rhodes. Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Alice Popovich. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 18 from 10AM-12PM at Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave., where a funeral service will follow at 12 noon. Interment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
