TRIBUNE-PAID OBIT WITH PHOTO Jo H. Davis, 79 of Warren, died Saturday evening, December 13, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown. She was born April 25, 1935 in Camden on Gauley, West Virginia the daughter of the late Al and Catherine Woods Fleming. She and her husband, Bobby moved to Trumbull county in 1959 from Hominey Falls, WVa. Jo worked for Delphi Packard Electric as an inspector for 11 years. She was a member of the Niles First Church of the Nazarene, where she served as a greeter. Jo collected rooster decor and loved decorating, baking, cooking and cleaning her home. Her greatest joy was her grandson, Brian, who affectionately called her "Mammy". She is survived by her husband of over 58 years, Bobby J. Davis, whom she married March 24, 1956; one daughter, Kim A. (Michael) Straniak of Howland; one grandson, Brian Straniak; three sisters, Mary ONeal of Beckley, WVa., Rhoda Palmer of Ravenswood, WVa. and Ellen Thomas of Tallmadge; one brother, Henry (Ann) Fleming of Statesville, NC and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece Nina Amick of Hampton, Va. Four sisters, Dixie Davis, Betty Glen Wyant, Peggy Torok and Henan Hannon have all preceded her in death. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Burial will be at Howland Township Cemetery.
