Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel for JoAnn Elizabeth Donahue, who passed away Monday, December 5, at Humility House. JoAnn was born January 1, 1930 in Ohltown, Ohio, the daughter of Melvin R. and Helen May (Keeling) Young and lived in Mineral Ridge all of her life. During WWII she was a dancer with the USO, entertaining the troops fighting for our freedom. JoAnn retired in 1984 from Packard Electric as an Inspector. She was of the Methodist faith and had been a member of the Mineral Ridge Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She leaves three daughters, Sharon K. (Kenneth) Rhodes and Susan R. (Ken) Cameron both of Mineral Ridge, and Terri L. (Richard) Dando of Austintown, one sister, Sandra L. (Lee) Coates of Stow, 7 grandchildren, Angel Cameron, Zac (Jamie) Cameron, Tracy (Jim) Carney, Michael Rhodes, Ryan (Tiffany) Gardner, Ashley (Jason) Lasher, and Trevor (Crystal Hapsic, as well as 14 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by and infant daughter, Lynn Donahue, one brother, Melvin "Bud" Young, and one sister, Phyllis Taylor. Friends may call from 10 to 11 AM at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel, where services will begin at 11 AM.
