Joan D. Roof

There will be a funeral service 11 AM Tuesday at Green Haven Memorial Gardens Joan D. Roof, of Austintown, who passed away at the Hospice House Friday evening. Joan was born October 5, 1932 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Charles and Daisy Mae (Fisher) Richmond. A private home caregiver, Joan was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by two children: Linda (Steven) Coman of Berlin Center, and Sharon M. Dunnegan of Austintown; four grandchildren: Shannon (Tony) Nicholas, Thomas (Hope) Coman, Stephanie (Ray Guzman) Coman and Ryan Dunnegan; and eight great grandchildren: Emily, Anthony, Dean, Isabella, Sadee, Tyller, Steven, and Michael. Joan is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry E. Roof, whom she married July 26, 1949, one grandson: Mike Booker; two sisters: Betty and Mary; and two brothers: Charles and William. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel.
