Joan M Rose

Joan M. Rose, 83, of Warren passed away peacefully at 2:45 PM Sunday Jan. 9 2011 at the Gracewoods Assisted Living Facility in Niles following a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 4, 1927 in Warren the daughter of Frank and Twila (Coe) Dilley. She was a lifetime Warren resident and a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Joan was employed as a medical assistant in various doctors' offices including Dr. Rex Whiteman and most recently by Dr. Rammohan for 17 years. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Warren and was an avid sports fan. Her husband Charles W. Rose Sr. whom she married May 14, 1948 preceded her in death March 26, 1993. She also was preceded in death by a brother Reid Coe Dilley. Joan will be sadly missed by 2 sons Charles W. (Melanie) Rose Jr. of Cortland, Frank R. (Stacy) Rose of Centerville, OH, and by a sister Marjorie Whiteman of Howland. She also leaves 5 grandchildren; Frank Rose of Warren, Charles Rose of Michigan, Brent (Karen) Rose of Hilliard, OH, Jason Rose of Las Vegas, Gust Rose of Centerville, and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday Jan. 12, 2011 at Roberts Clark Chapel where friends may call for 1 hour prior to the service. The Rev. Don Monaco will officiate. Interment will be in Pineview Memorial Park. The family suggests material contributions be made to Grace Hospice 7206 Market St. Boardman, OH 44512.
