Joann Addis

Masury, OH- Joann Addis 61, of Masury, OH passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning July 9, 2014 in Sharon Regional Health System. She was born in Sharon, PA on March 24, 1953 the daughter of Joseph and Millie (Popovich) Syersak. She was a 1971 graduate of Brookfield High School and went on to marry her sweetheart Karl Addis on September 15, 1973. Mrs. Addis had worked at Orangevillage Care Center as a nurse's aid for seventeen years and more recently had worked at Kraftmaid Cabinetry in Middlefield, OH. In her free time she enjoyed cross stitching and watching NASCAR cheering on her favorite driver Jeff Gordon. Joann leaves behind her husband and sweetheart of over forty years Karl; two brothers Joseph Syersak and his wife Joan of Ortig, WA and Steven Syersak and his wife Missy of Burghill, OH; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday July 14, 2014 at the Hubbard Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Michael Byus officiating. Friend may call one hour prior to the start of the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Madasz Chapel of Lane Family Funeral Homes in Brookfield, OH.
