NILES-Johanna Welsh, 93, of Niles, passed away at 8:35 AM Sunday, March 11, 2007 in her home. Johanna was born November 25, 1913 in Weisbaden, West Germany and was the daughter of the late Wilhelm and Lina (Kretzer) Schnell. Johanna was a homemaker a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Johanna was married on June 21, 1951 to Woodrow Welsh, who preceded her in death on December 13, 1985. Johanna is survived by a brother Curt (Ina) ManHillen of Wiesbaden, West Germany; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 from 9 until 10:00 AM in the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, preceded by closing prayers to be recited at 9:40AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Kerr Cemetery, Weathersfield Township.
