John E Readman

John Eugene "Jack" Readman, 76, of Niles passed away Tuesday morning, Nov. 16, 2010 at Briarfield at the Ridge after an extended illness. Born Nov. 6, 1934 in Warren, he was the son of the late John Readman and Rosa (Gautchi) Readman Coe. Jack was a graduate of Howland High School and retired from Republic Steel where he worked as assistant superintendant of electrical for many years and also from Valley Mould. He was a member of Lifepoint Church in Warren, formerly New Creation Fellowship. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Mary Ellen (Cera) Readman of Niles whom he married Oct. 21, 1982, four daughters; Sheryl (Robert) McClain and Leslie Stredney both of Howland Twp., Karen (Curt) Downing of Aurora, and Barbara (Michael) Cameneti of Canton, two step children; John Bates and Christine Hall both of Niles, eight grandchildren; Matthew McClain, Adam Stredney, Yvonne Martin, Michael Cameneti, Erin Saluga, Ryan Stredney, Tyler Downing and Stephanie (Cameneti) Nickel, six step grandchildren; Johnny Bates, Ricky Hall, Christopher Holbrook, whom he helped raise, Ashley Bates, Brian Bates and Faith Ann Herrera, Seven great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, step father, Chuck Coe and by a sister Bonnie Ragozzine. Family and friends will be received Thursday evening from 5 until 7PM at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel. The Rev. David Verzilli Jr. will conduct a funeral service Friday afternoon, Nov. 19, 2010 at 1PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Niles City Cemetery.
