John H. Edmundson

Mineral Ridge- Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for John A. Edmundson, age 70, of Mineral Ridge who died Saturday at his residence. John was born Oct. 22, 1936 in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late Victor and Florence (Fulton) Edmundson. He had last worked for Old Port Cove in Security in Palm Beach, FL and had previously worked for Republic Steel as a Lieutenant in Security. He had served in the U.S. Army and formerly been a member of the V.F.W. and the Moose Lodge in Florida. John enjoyed going to Flea Markets, liked comedy and enjoyed the Soprano’s on television. John is survived by a son Dean J. Edmundson of Niles, two sisters, Kathryn Kollat with whom he made his home, Elizabeth McGeary of Austintown and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother William A. Edmundson. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Wednesday.
