John J. Mishorich

JOHN J. “MOOSE” MISHORICH John J. “Moose” Mishorich of 404 Obermiyer Rd., Brookfield, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home. He was 52. John was born in Greenville, PA on October 27, 1952, a son of Paul and Helen (Bartolic) Mishorich and was a lifetime Brookfield resident. He was a 1971 graduate of Brookfield High School and continued his education graduating from the New Castle School of Trades. John had recently retired after 30 years of employment at Sharon Tube as a Millwright and was looking forward to retiring to his boat and living along the coast of Florida. He was well known for his cooking business called “Shotgun John’s” where he specialized in smoked meats, sausages, and mile high lasagna. Raising beagles was a longtime hobby and he enjoyed their company around the house as well as teaching them to hunt. John also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, traveling & cooking. He especially enjoyed time with his family and friends. He is survived by 2 daughters, Eva Wilford & her husband Kyle, Orange Park, FL, and Danielle Stewart, Oakland, MD; brother, Paul Mishorich, Chicago, IL; 2 nephews, Paul Jr., St. Louis, MO and John, Indianapolis, IN; 4 Grandchildren, Thomas Wilford, Samara, Tyler & Sammy Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements have been made by Madasz Funeral Chapel as per John’s request for a private family service. Those wishing to share in the joyful memories of “Moose” may join the family at his home for a wake on Saturday, May 21st starting around 3 PM.
