John K. (Jack) Patterson

JOHN K. (JACK) PATTERSON age 70 Austintown- Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Canfield, for Jack Patterson who died Monday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital. Jack was born September 8, 1935 in Youngstown the son of Robert J. and Catherine Maloney Patterson and was a life long area resident. Jack was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. He was employed at Delphi Packard for the last 12 years as a equipment operator, prior to this he was employed 33 years at the Insul Company in East Palestine. Jack was Past President of the Austintown Fitch Touchdown Club, was a baseball manager for Austintown Little League and Pony League for many years. He was an avid bowler in many Wedgewood Lanes Bowling Leagues and was a great golfer being inducted into his golf league Hall of Fame. Jack also served his country in Korea, serving in the US Army. He is survived by his wife Carole Turner Patterson whom he married June 7, 1958, sons; John and (Pauline) Patterson of Cortland, Jeff and (Julie) Patterson of Austintown, grandchildren; Jessica, Jonathan, Justin, Steven, Jacalyn and Jordyn, sister; Shirley Komsa of Canfield and brothers; Robert Patterson of Austintown and Kenneth Patterson of Canfield. He was preceded in death by his sister Dolores DeLisio and parents.
