John Lakatos

Brookfield John Lakatos, 62, formerly of Fowler, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Saturday morning, March 29, 2014 at the Hospice House in Poland, OH. John was born in Youngstown, OH on March 8, 1952 a son to John Franklin Lakatos Sr. and JoAnne (MCombs) Miller. John was a retired Teamster since 2008, a member of the Greenville Sportsmans Club and an active shooter of skeet, trap, and registered shoots. He was an avid hunter and had a passionate love for fishing from coast to coast. In his spare time he also enjoyed to golf. He will be missed by his mother Joanne, his wife Cindy Lakatos, whom he married on August 29, 2013, one daughter Holli Lakatos of FL, one son; Sean Lakatos, two step-daughters: Jordan and Dru Gerace, one step-son Joey Gerace, one brother David (Donna) Miller of FL, two sisters: Faith Lakatos of Hermitage and Denise Hillier of FL, and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his father and his maternal grandmother Ethel McCombs. A private service will be held for John at a later date and time. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice House located at 9803 Sharrot Road Poland, OH 44514. John will be sadly missed by all who loved him.
