John Leonard Ball

WARREN: John L. Ball, 91, passed away April 19, 2017 at Windsor House at Champion. John was born in Commodore, PA to Leonard & Sarah (Branch) Ball. After graduating from Green Township High School, John proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII. After his discharge, he spent his career working as a supervisor for Schaefer Equipment Company. On June 28, 1952 he was united in marriage to the former Catherine Potochick whom preceded him in death on September 9, 2009. John was a sports fan and spent his time cheering on the Cleveland teams; Cavaliers, Browns & Indians. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday April 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Paull ii Parish Church; 420 North St. NW, Warren, OH 44483. Family will received friends for one hour prior to the start of mass. Besides his wife, John was preceded in death by his granddaughter Meghan O'Neal and his brothers Clarence, William and Gerald Ball. John is survived by his son William (Debra) Ball; his daughter Patricia (John) O'Neal and his grandchildren Christian & Nathaniel Ball.
