John Robertson

Austintown- Calling hours will be held from 5-7 PM Wed. evening at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for John Robertson, Jr. age 77 of 5641 Stanford Ave. who died early Monday morning in Northside Hospital. John was born Jan. 30, 1927 in Youngstown and was the son of John and Marjorie Robertson, Sr. He had worked for Storm Electric in Sales and also for Waynco Electric where he had been an estimator and shop manager. He was a member of St. Alban’s Lodge, had served in the Merchant Marines and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved to read. John is survived by his wife the former Ruth L. Weimer whom he married April 14, 1949. He also leaves a daughter Janet Robertson of Youngstown, a son John D. Robertson of Hubbard, a brother Robert T. Robertson of Champion, a sister Marian Conti of Austintown and two grandchildren, Caitlyn and Ian Robertson. There are no funeral services.
