John Sidney Adams

John S. Adams, age 78 of Warren, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born December 11, 1932 in Warren, the son of the late William F. and Josephine Campbell Adams. He was a lifelong Trumbull county resident. John was a Warren G. Harding High School graduate. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired in 1995 after 37 years of service as a technician with United Telephone Company. John was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, was an avid HAM radio operator and enjoyed traveling. His wife, Nancy Lou Dienstebier, whom he married June 2, 1962, preceded in death January 12, 2008. One brother, George C. Adams also preceded him in death. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.Friday at Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren, where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday August 27, 2011, with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
