Austintown-There will be a memorial service held on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 11AM at Lane Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel for John W. Kozak Jr., 65, who passed away Friday, March 14, 2008 at The Hospice House. John was born Sept. 27, 1942 in Youngstown, OH the son of the late John Sr. and Christine Datko Kozak. He graduated from Akron Barber School. Mr. Kozak served in the Ohio Nation Guard for 6 years. He owned and operated Kozak's Barber and Beauty Salon in Austintown for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Austintown. John is survived by, His wife, Beverly Morar Kozak, whom he married May 30, 1967; a son, John III and his wife Jennifer Kozak of Philadelphia, PA; 2 daughters Gina and her husband Anthony Giordano of Canfield, OH, and Tina and her fianc Darren Augustine of Austintown, OH; 2 sisters, Ann Hripko and Irene McKula both of Youngstown, OH; 2 grandchildren, Mason and Vince Giordano. He was preceded in death by his parents. Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel handled the arrangements. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Hospice House.
