John W. Mcmichaels

AUSTINTOWN-John W. McMichaels, 82, of Austintown, passed away at 7:31 PM Sunday, December 3, 2006 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. John was born July 7, 1924 in Youngstown and was the son of the late Daniel and Grace (Hogue) McMichaels. John retired in 1980 from Ohio Works (Carneige Steel) where he worked for 40 years as a brick layer. John was of the Protestant faith and a veteran of the United States Army. John is survived by two sisters Hazel Pedaline of Youngstown and Dorothy Overdorf of Austintown and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife the former Mary Jane Young; two sisters Harriet Seres and Donna MaHood; and two brothers Lawrence and Robert McMichaels. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 from 5 until 7 PM in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, where a funeral service will take place at 1:30 PM Thursday, December 7, 2006.
