Joseph Elyko

CANFIELD----Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Mr. Joseph Elyko, 78, of 5498 Shields Rd., Canfield, who died Friday morning at his residence. Mr. Elyko was born September 19, 1923 in Aroyo, PA, the son of George and Ann (Csernik) Elyko coming to this area as a child. He had been employed in the paint shop at General Motors, retiring in 1989. His wife, the former Lois J. Jones, whom he married June 25, 1949, died May of 1992. He is survived by his daughter, Denise Saltsman of Kinsman and a son Richard C. Elyko of Canfield, one sister, Margaret Bresko and two grandchildren, Rachael Saltsman and Cody Elyko. A brother, John Elyko is deceased. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
