Joseph L. Avers

Joseph L. Avers, 85 Austintown- There are no services or calling hours for Joseph L. Avers who passed away Sunday morning Northside Medical Center. Joseph was born October 7, 1926 in Youngstown a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Antos) Avers. A veteran of the United States Navy, he was a 1st Class Boiler Maker for LTV and also worked as a home builder. Joseph will be sadly missed by his children: Nancy R. Sweeney-Roberts, Timothy L. Avers and Joseph L. Avers; one sister Mary Lou Burnham; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Joseph is predeceased by his wife Nancy; a sister Irean Anderson and a brother Louis Avers. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel.
