Joseph R. Seiber

Joseph R. Seiber, age 93, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles. Joseph was born April 8, 1924 in Harriman, Tennessee to the late Joseph R. Seiber and Bessie Mae (Adcox) Plant. He retired from the B&O Railroad after 33 years of service, he also owned and operated the Seiber Sports Store for over 30 years. Joseph was also a lifelong member of the First Church of God. Joseph is survived by his wife, June A. Seiber; his children, James (Mary Jo) Seiber of Temperance, Michigan, Judith (Dennis) Smith of Niles, and Jeffrey (Judy) Seiber of Niles; six grandchildren, Kiersten (Brendan) DeLamielleure, Deanna (Eric) Anderson, Allyson (Ryan) Hathaway, Joshua (Suzana) Seiber, Ashley (Richard) Greenwood, and Ryan (Christina) Smith; 11 great-grandchildren, Lauren, Blake, Evan, Claire, Andrew, Lincoln, Lily, Emilia, Anabelle, Landin, and Dylan. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Martha Stahl. Friends may call 11-Noon Friday, June 30th, at Lane Funeral Home, Niles Chapel. Pastor Wes Cluckey will officate the funeral at Noon. Burial in Niles Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mineral Ridge First Church of God. Joseph's family would like to offer a special thank you to Autumn Hills Care Center, especially Evelyn Kiger, Tina Richmond, and Greg Davies for the love and care they gave Joseph.
