JOSEPH WALLACE BRENEMAN . Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Joseph W. Breneman age 53 of Austintown who died early Sat. morning at Northside Hospital surround by his family following an extended illness. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Joe was born Dec. 18, 1949 in Youngstown and was the son of Ashby and Katherine (O’Mally) Breneman and was a life long resident. He had been employed at General Motors Assembly Plant in Lordstown as a committeeman and zone man and retired in June 2002. Joe graduated in 1968 from Western Reserve High School and had served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1975. He had been active in Make-A-Wish Foundation and was involved with many activities with ill children and recently involved in a restoration of a 1962 Chevy Bel-Air for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He was a member of the Western Star Masonic Lodge, enjoyed woodworking, landscaping and traveling and was of the Baptist Faith. Joe leaves his wife Catherine (Knafels) Breneman whom he married May 23, 1990, one son John Joseph Breneman of Austintown, two sisters; Sarah Stewart of Liberty, Darlene Smith of Austintown, six brothers; Richard Breneman of Austintown, William Vaughn of Salem, George Vaughn of Streetsboro, OH, Jim Vaughn of Ojai, Calif., Martin “Marty” Vaughn of Carbonado, Washington, Ashby Breneman of Bellefonte, Pa. and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Family requests the material contributions be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeastern Ohio at The Hanna Building, 1422 Euclid Ave. Suite 239, Cleveland, OH 44115-1901 or the American Cancer Society
