Joseph R. Dulovich Sr., age 89 passed away Tuesday at his residence. Joseph was born March 10, 1915 in Youngstown a son of the late John and Anna (Chion) Dulovich. Joe was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Austintown, had been a motor inspector for Youngstown Sheet and Tube for over 35 years, was a US Navy Veteran serving in WWII aboard the USS Duluth, and enjoyed model railroading. He is survived by four children: Patricia Ann Brison of San Francisco, CA, Donald Dulovich of Cincinnati, OH, Joseph R. Dulovich Jr. of Boardman, OH, and Steven C. Dulovich of Warren, OH; one sister Nellie Dulovich of Austintown; and five grandchildren. Joe is preceded in death by his wife the former Hermine Sander whom he married on June 19, 1940, and passed on January 18, 2001; one brother Steven Dulovich; and four sisters: Rosella Jonas, Irene Steffera, Ann Marti, and Mary Lou James. Friends may call from 12-1 PM Thursday afternoon at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Austintown where a funeral service will be held at 1 PM. Material contributions may be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Joe’s name.
