Private funeral services will be held 11am Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Joshua J. Raub, 27, who died early Monday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. He was born September 11, 1983 in Youngstown, a son of Mark S. and Rebecca J. (Miller) Raub, and he resided in this area all of his life. He worked as a tow motor operator for the Tamarkin Company in Austintown where he had been for three years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 377. He enjoyed art and drawing, hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Miller of Youngstown; his father, Mark Raub of Warren; his grandmother, Ruth (Randy Taft) Raub of Warren; his grandfather, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Raub of New Springfield; his brother, Alan Raub of Austintown; his fiancee, Ruthie Rovder of Austintown; his niece, Oriana; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will deeply miss his smile, his energy, and his love of life. Josh was a kind and generous man whose generousity continued in death by giving the gift of life through his decision to be an organ and tissue donor, and he will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his sister, Darla Jean and his maternal grandmother, Norma Jean Fisher. Friends may call for one hour prior to services from 10-11am Monday at the funeral home.
