Joyce Ann Caruso

Cortland- Joyce Ann Caruso, age 71, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. Joyce was born June 11, 1945 in Buffalo, New York to the late Henry and Louise (Piskorz) Musialowski. She married Anthony Caruso on August 26, 1967 and came to the Cortland area in 1975. She was a member of St. Roberts Catholic Church and had strong religious beliefs. She loved dogs, enjoyed cooking, and wintering in Florida at The Villages. Joyce adored her grandchildren immensely, she will be remembered as a loving, caring, and giving woman. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Tony, her children Anthony (Melissa) Caruso & Suzanne (Chris) Copley; seven grandchildren Mason, Morgan, Mitchell, Matthew, Anthony, Gianna, and Sofia; Her sisters, Paula Harris & Barbara Beres. Besides her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her brother Bobby Musialowski. Friends may call 11-1PM Friday, November 25th at St. Roberts Catholic Church, 4659 N. Mecca St. (Rt. 46) in Cortland. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated after calling hours at 1PM.
