Juanita C. Brobst

North Jackson-Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Juanita Brobst of North Jackson who died Monday evening at the Essex Home in Salem. Juanita was born September 24, 1924 in Duluth Minnesota the daughter of Jay and Stella (Hubble) Vandenberg. She was raised by her Great Aunt and Uncle Myrtle and Earl Cowels in Wittenberg, WI. and came to this area in 1944. She was employed for over 30 years for Dr. and Mrs. Donald Surridge in North Jackson. She is survived by two sons; Eugene of Boardman and Daryl of Berlin Center. She is also survived by three brothers; Lloyd Vandenberg of Superior, WI., Neil Vandenberg of Kissimmee, FL., Lyle Vandenberg of St. Cloud, FL., grandchildren Daryl and Sharon Brobst and great grandchildren; Nicole, Cameron and Caleb. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Brobst whom she married February 9, 1944 in Chicago, died January 3, 1984. Family and friends may call from 10-11 am Friday at the funeral home.
