Juanita M. Crook

Juanita Marie (Yoho) Crook, 76 of Warren died Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at 10:25PM at St. Joseph Health Center after an extended illness. Born July 13, 1929 in Akron, OH she was the daughter of the late Charlie Walter and Gracie A. (Anthony) Yoho. A graduate of Youngstown State University, Mrs. Crook was a school teacher for the LaBrae Schools for over 30 years retiring in 2002. A very active member of the First Church of God in Warren, she was a member of the church’s women’s club, with the Boy Scouts, the Fish and Game Club of Vienna, and the local Republican Party. She enjoyed reading and the outdoors and truly enjoyed her craft of teaching children. Mrs. Crook is survived by her son Philip N. Crook Jr. of Warren and by a sister Claire Schwab of Tuscon, AZ. She was preceded in death in February of 1972 by her husband Philip N. Crook Sr., and by a daughter Eleanor Crook in April of 1978. Calling hours will be held Friday, December 30, 2005 from 5 to 7 PM at the Roberts-Clark Chapel. Rev. Ray Lias will conduct a funeral service on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 9:00AM at the First Church of God on Parkman Road in Warren. Burial will be in the Pine Knoll Cemetery.
