Julia Ann Bupp

Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel for Julia Ann Bupp, formerly of Girard and Howland, who passed away Sunday afternoon at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Julia was born October 29, 1929 in Vienna a daughter of the late David and Ida (Peterson) Davies. She had worked at General Electric- Trumbull Lamp, Master Cleaners in Warren and retired from Best Western. Julia was a former member of the Christ is the Answer Protestant Church in North Jackson and enjoyed crafts, sewing, arranging flowers, and traveling. Her husband Junior W. Bupp, whom she married May 26, 1967, passed away December 18, 2000. Julia will be sadly missed by her two children: Lou (Diana) Brown of Youngstown and Lynda L. (Chuck) Wirebaugh of Cortland; one brother John Davies of Mansfield; five grandchildren: Timothy Palya, Laura Morse, Tiffany Whetzel, Joanna Lynn, and Krista Montecalvo; five great grandchildren: Zachary, Kara, Leeah, Trevor, BreeAnna; one great great granddaughter: Kylie; four step grandchildren: Jaime Romeo, Brenda Staffrey, Dan Staffrey Jr., Tony Staffrey; and two great great step grandchildren: Roni and Alivia. Besides her parents, Julia is preceded in death by three brothers: Otto Peterson, Ludwig Davies and Windsor Davies and two sisters: Laverne Codner and Katherine Peterson. Friends may call from 4 pm until 7 pm Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel.
