CANFIELD-Services will begin at 9:20AM Saturday, December 13, 2008 in the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Christine Catholic Church in Youngstown for Julia P. Nittoli, 81, who passed away at 10:33AM Thursday, December 11, 2008 in Hospice House in Poland. Julia was born October 27, 1927 in Milan, Italy the daughter of the late Felix and Anna (Grassoni) DeMolli. Julia retired as a hospital telephone operator from St. Elizabeth Hospital. Julia was a member of the church and the Itam #33 Club. Julia was married on September 1, 1962 to Sam Nittoli and they were married for 37 years until his passing on October 25, 1999. Julia is survived by a daughter Anna Marie (Mark) Roth of Canfield; a sister Irma Blank of Struthers; grandchildren Kacie and Joseph Roth of Canfield; and two step daughters Pauline (Bob) Villa of New Jersey and Marie (Steve) Mortorano of Pennsylvania. Besides her parents and husband, Julia was preceded in death by a sister Norma Canter. Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 13, 2008 from 8:30AM to 9:20AM in the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Assumption Village Nursing Home, St. Elizabeth ICU Boardman Campus, Hospice House, and to Dr. Donald J. Tamulonis for all of the care they gave to Julia and the family. The Family request that memorial contributions take the form of donations to the Society for Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
