June Mabel Vitto

Funeral services will be held 11 AM at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for June M. Vitto age 85 of Austinwoods Care Center, formerly of Tyrell St. died Thursday morning at Austintwoods Care Center. June was born June 16, 1918 in Youngstown and was the daughter of Joseph and Grace B. (Leonard) Jones. She was of the Baptist Faith, was a member of the Youngstown Upper East Side Crime Block and a member of the retired Nurses Association. Her husband Carl Vitto whom she married Jan. 20, 1973 died in 1986. She is survived by a daughter Carol and her husband Ken Russo of Austintown, seven sisters, Vera Taylor, Nellie Shoenberger, Ruby Nashette, Gertrude Dudley all of Youngstown, Vivian Serricchio of Columbiana, Shirley Fair of Florida, Sara Copper of Hubbard, three grandchildren Joseph, Karen and Richard all of Phoenix, AZ and one great grandson Chuckie. She was preceded in death by a brothers Edwin and Joseph Jones and a sister Rosalie Bergman. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10-11 AM Sat.
