June Mayjule Burkhart

June Mayjule Burkhart, 94, formally of Warren, died peacefully on, December 14, 2016, at 10:28 am, at Shepherd of The Valley, Howland. June was born on December 9, 1922 in Gustavus Township, a daughter of the late Maurice A. and Marion (Nason) Tricker. June was a 1940 graduate of Levittsburg High School. During the war, she worked at G.E. Trumbull Lamps, as a 100-watt lamp inspector, but spent most of her life as a home maker. June was a proud member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She donated countless hours, in various different soup kitchens as well as Emmanuel and St. Paul's church kitchens. In her free time, she enjoyed golfing, was a member of TAG, and Warren's Women club. In 1959 June won Mrs. Warren, a contest for good housekeeping. She leaves behind two daughters; Nancy (Michael) Clutter, of Tucson, AZ, Karen Wilson, of Cortland, two grandchildren; Tim (Monica) Clutter, of Warren, Jon Clutter, Tucson, AZ, four great grandchildren; Heidi, Jenuwel, Colleen, and Julia, and one great great grandchild, and a sibling, Eunice Zimmet. June is preceded in death by her parents, and the love of her life, and best friend, the late, William C. Burkhart. Whom she married on October 17, 1942, and William died on April, 9 2009, after 67 years of marriage. She is also preceded in death by her siblings; Dean Gerald, Eugene, and Franklin. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 11 am at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. Warren. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Crown Hill burial park.
