Justin "Jay" Jacob Steffan Solida

Justin "Jay" Jacob Steffan Solida, 22, passed away on August 26, 2015. He was born in Warren, OH, on June 16, 1993, son of Racheal Solida. Jay attended McDonald High School. He was a creative and artistic person. He expressed himself in many ways, including through the enjoyment he found in drawing. Jay's true passion in life was his music. He wrote, performed, and recorded his rap music with local studios. Jay also found great joy riding bicycles with his grandma, Noreen, and spending time with his little cousin, Zoey, and his dog, Bobo, who recently preceded him in death. Jay's memory will be carried on and cherished in the hearts of all that knew him. Left to mourn Jay's passing is his mother, Racheal Solida; his grandparents, Jesse and Noreen Husk; his aunts Becky Shaffer and Jessica Solida; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In addition to Bobo, Jay is preceded in death by his grandfather, Randy Solida, his great-grandfather Ludwig "Bud" Davies and his great-grandmother, Jennie Davies. The family will receive friends from 5PM-7PM on Sunday, August 30 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel, 1350 N. Canfield-Niles Rd, where the family will also receive friends on Monday, August 31, from 10AM-11AM prior to the funeral service Monday that begins at 11AM. Inurnment will take place on a later date at Pineview Memorial Park.
