Karen A. Mounts

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McDonald for Karen A. Mounts, 52, who died suddenly Tuesday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown. She was born February 19, 1957 in Youngstown, the daughter of Samuel and Josephine (Idarosa) Acierno, and she resided in this area all of her life. She was a 1975 graduate of Girard High School. She was a Roman Catholic and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in McDonald. She spent her more recent years as a homemaker loving and caring for her family. She is survived by her husband Dennis M. Mounts, whom she married July 4, 1994. She also leaves behind her parents, Sam and Josephine of McDonald; a daughter Johna (Brian) Callow of McDonald; a brother Joseph (Pam) Acierno of Johnston; two granddaughters, Gracie and Brianna, and a grandchild yet to be born; two godsons, Conner Wilson and Kasey Likens; and numerous friends. Karen was a kind and loving lady and she will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Friends may call from 5-8pm Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
