Karen L Mcpherson

Karen L. McPherson Marsh, 71, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, Ohio following a short illness. She was born on September 22, 1942 in Warren, Ohio to the late, William E. Marsh Jr. and Frances A. Powell Marsh. Karen was a 1960 graduate of Leavittsburg High School and a 1962 graduate of Choffin School of Practical Nursing in Youngstown, Ohio. Her 44-year nursing career was mostly in local nursing homes but also included several area hospitals. Karen grew up in Leavittsburg but lived for many years in Braceville before moving to Warren six years ago. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and watching the Browns and Indians play and NASCAR. She is survived by her children, Mark A. McPherson of Hermitage, PA, Kimberly Ann McPherson of Ogdensburg, NY and Scott (Laurie) McPherson of Mechanicsville, MD.; sister, Kathleen R. Hayes with whom she shared a home in Warren, and brother, William E. (Adele) Marsh III of San Diego, CA; four grandchildren, Randy Towne, Kassie Towne, Miranda McPherson and Kylee McPherson; nephew, Christopher Hayes and niece, Jessica Marsh. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Dallas Eugene McPherson on February 15, 1992. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. NE, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM.
