Karen S. Jones -- 35 Austintown—Services will be 11 am Monday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Karen S. Jones, 35, of Austintown who passed away Thursday afternoon from injuries received in an auto accident in Mercer PA. Karen was born June 9, 1969 in Youngstown the daughter of Walter and Beverley (Dunn) Jones and was a lifelong area resident. She worked as a clerk / secretary for the AMVETS. Karen was a 1988 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and attended the Mahoning County Joint Vocational School. She was involved in the Tri County Spina Bifida Association, and was the poster child for the March of Dimes in the 70’s. Karen also enjoyed playing Bingo. Besides her parents she leaves one brother Kenneth W. (Valerie) Jones of Boardman as well as two nieces Kathryn, and Emily and one nephew Kenneth Jr. of Boardman. Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 pm Sunday and again from 10 am until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
