Karen Vargo

Karen Vargo, age 59, of Tionesta, PA, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, very peacefully, surrounded by those who loved her most, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, September 7, 2015 at 7:10 AM at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Karen was a member of Fellowship of Believers Church and served on the Worship Team in Pleasantville, PA. Karen was born on August 12, 1956 in South Amboy, New Jersey of Betty and John Vargo and she was a graduate of East Brunswick New Jersey High School, Class of 1974. Karen resided in Tionesta, PA. What made Karen the happiest was her love of finding antiques etc. at flea markets and garage sales, etc. Karen was preceded in death by her loving father, John. She leaves behind her mother Betty of Austintown; her brother, John (Dee) of South River, NJ; her aunt Mary (Ray) Benedict of Grove City, PA; her cousins, Ralph (Cheryl) Sylvester of Austintown, Lori Wilczek of Marlton, NJ, Marianne (Roger) Yeager of Sharon, PA, and several other cousins. All funeral services are private and memorial contributions may be given to one's favorite charity in Karen's memory. All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel.
