Kathelene I. Kramer of Niles, OH died at 2:25 PM Wednesday at University Hospital in Cleveland. She was 71. Mrs. Kramer was born in Howland, OH on March 15, 1934, a daughter of Clyde and Virginia Green Vandergrift. She worked for Packard Electric for over 17 years as an Inspector. Kathelene was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary – John D. Massey Garrison No. 422. She also found enjoyment in Bingo, Poker, and Baking. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. Survivors include: Her husband William Kramer, whom she married May 29, 1966.; 1 son, John Datchuk of McDonald, OH; 1 Daughter, Mrs. Rod (Karen) Clisby of McDonald, OH.; 2 brothers, Jerry (Bernice) Vandergrift of Howland Ohio, and Chick Vandergrift of Niles, OH; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; Special Friends Kim and her daughter Amy Dickson, George Quinn, and Lisa Snyder; Her bingo partner, Marilyn Snyder. Kathelene’s Poodle, Piere and here Shiatsu Tucker. She was preceded in death by: her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11 APM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home – Niles Chapel 415 Robbins Ave. Niles, OH., with Rev. Dan Cesene. Calling hours will be from 4-7 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
