Katherine F Hays

Katherine F. Hays of Boardman, OH, died in the afternoon on Sunday at her residence. She was 76. Mrs. Hays was born in Flint, Michigan on Sept. 8, 1931, a daughter of Walter G. and Delta Rae Marsh Barth. She was a homemaker. She was a member or the Church Woman United, Volunteer for Protestant Family Services, conducted a Wednesday Bible Study, and loved playing Bridge. Her husband, Kenneth W. Hays, whom she married Oct. 21, 1950, died Nov of 1987. Survivors include: 3 children, David and his wife Sue Hays of Cape Coral, FL, Nancy Hays of Cape Coral, FL, and Kenneth and his wife Robby Hays of Youngstown, OH; 1 brother Robert G. Barth of Burton, MI; 6 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild; 6 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Joan Dawe A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Disciples Christian Church. Lane Funeral Homes – Austintown Chapel handled the arrangments. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Protestant Family Services.
