Kathryn Martin

North Jackson- A memorial Service will be held Saturday at 10 AM at Firsr Federated Church for Kay Martin of 38 Liberty St. in N.Jackson who died Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Kathryn was born on February 9, 1924 in North Jackson the daughter of Nellis V. and Iva (Dewitt) McMillin. She graduated from Jackson Milton High School and was the clerk for the appeals board and a member of the zoning board for many years. She also was a tax accountant for H&R block and owned and operated her own beauty shop in North Jackson for many years. And she had previously worked at Mahoning National Bank. She is survived by her husband LeRoy Martin who she married on January 28, 1943 along with 4 children Judy Triveri of Coral Springs, Florida, David L. Martin of North Jackson, Kevin D. Martin of Newton Falls and Shawn T. Martin of Liberty Twp. She also leaves 6 grandchildren and is preceded in death by her brother Kenneth McMillin. There are no calling hours. The family requests that tributes take the form of donations to The First Federated Church Memorial fund. Services are by the Lane Funeral home Austintown Chapel.
