Kenneth A. Price

There will be Services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Anstrom Chapel, 8387 Tod Ave. in Boardman for Kenneth A. Price, 62, of Poland, who passed away Tuesday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. Ken was born Dec. 8, 1954 in Youngstown, a son of Arthur N. and Betty J. (Kovachik) Price. He was a C. & C. Machine Operator/Programmer for Tri-Fab. Ken had previously been employed with P & L E Railroad for 10 years as well as the Ohio Central Railroad for 5 years. He was a 1973 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and received an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1993 from Y.S.U. Ken was of the Protestant Faith. He was a member of the Poland Community Baseball Assoc. and the Warner Brothers Golf League. Ken enjoyed racing and working on motorcycles. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time at the pool in the backyard but he especially loved spending time with his family. Ken is survived by his wife of 37 years, the former Lori A. Ricketts, whom he married Oct. 4, 1980; his children: Lance A. Price of Poland, Logan A. (Marissa A.) Price of Waco, TX, and Kenzi A. Price of Poland; a brother, Terry Price and his sister, Kelli Piccoli, both of Austintown. Besides his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Price and his sister, Novella Armeni. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home and 10-11 a.m. Saturday, prior to the Service. Memorial contributions may be given to Animal Charity, 4140 Market St. Boardman, OH 44512.
