Kenneth Dale Smith Sr.

Youngstown- Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Kenneth Smith who died Sunday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital. Ken was born June 3, 1959 in Dayton, the son of Richard and Gladys (Lewis) Smith. Ken was formerly employed for Atec, Star Aluminum and Magmode Aluminum. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Ken loved watching the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed all sports. He graduated from Fitch High School and attended YSU where he was on the “Deans list”. Ken is survived by his parents Richard and Gladys, his children; Kenneth D. Smith Jr. of Struthers, Christina Smith of Boardman, Tiffany Smith of Boardman, Jeffrey Smith of Youngstown and Frank Kovach of Struthers. He also is survived by his brothers; Ricky Smith of Hubbard, James Smith of Austintown, sister; Debra Jean Chambers of Austintown, his granddaughter Dezerea Pavlick and 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Family and friends may call from 5-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. The Smith family asks that memorial contributions take the form of donations to help with funeral expenses.
