Kenneth Gene Butcher, 41 of Howland Twp, died Sunday evening, October 26, 2008 at his home after a long battle with cancer. Born February 20, 1967 in Warren, he was the son of Hobert and Ellen (Wrighter) Butcher of Howland Twp. Ken was employed by Giant Eagle in Howland for 11 years and loved his job. He was a member of the Warren Baptist Temple and studied and enjoyed martial arts. He achieved the rank of black belt in Karate and was currently working towards his second degree black belt. Chuck Norris was his hero. Ken was a sports fan and liked the Steelers and the NY Yankees and loved his truck. Kenneth will be dearly missed by his parents, a brother Steven (Sue) Butcher of Hubbard, sister Nancy (Roland) Cisneros of Toledo, two nephews Chadwick and Ashton Cisneros, his number one Aunt, Jenny Masko of Howland Twp, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, six uncles and an aunt. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2-4PM and 6 to 8PM at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel. The Rev. James Dittmar will conduct a funeral service Friday, October 31, 2008 at 11AM at the Warren Baptist Temple where calling hours will be held from 10 to 11AM. Burial will be in the Meadowbrook Memorial Park.
