Kenneth Leroy Armstrong

Kenneth Leroy Armstrong, 56, of Warren Township, passed away Saturday morning, January 21, 2012 at his home and surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born November 8, 1955 in Warren, He was the son of the late Charles W. and Jean (Davis) Armstrong. Ken worked for Trinity/Syro Steel in Girard for more than 37 years. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan, enjoyed fishing and golfing and taking trips to the casino. Most of all, Ken enjoyed the time he shared with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Ken was married to Deborah (Johnson) Armstrong and together they shared three children and several years of marriage until her death in 2004. He will be dearly missed by his children, Terry (Kimberly) Armstrong of Howland Township, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Jessep of Champion and Jason (Meghan Phillips) Armstrong of Warren, five grandchildren; Moira Armstrong, Morgan and Mallory Jessep and Destiny and Christopher Armstrong, a brother, David W. (Marlene) Armstrong of Savannah, GA, sister, Alma Jean (Ralph) Dibble of Warren, Step Sister, Megan (Clint) Crosby of Statesboro, GA, Sister-in-law, Linda Armstrong of Warren, several nieces and nephews and his loving companion, Donna Johnson of Warren Township. He will also be missed by his faithful pet terrier "Zoey". Ken was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Frank Armstrong. Family and friends will be welcomed Monday, January 23, 2012, from 4 until 7P.M. at Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel. Rev. Rodney Mullins and Rev. Mark Rasey will conduct a funeral service immediately following the visitation at 7 P.M. According to Kenneth's wishes cremation will take place concluding funeral services.
