Kenneth R. Hood

There are no services or calling hours for Kenneth R. Hood who passed away Monday at his son's home. Kenneth was born April 16, 1941 in Warren a son of the late Ray and Leta (Hess) Hood. A resident of Stuart, FL since 1984, he worked as a maintenance supervisor for Family Manor Assisted Living. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Stuart, FL, enjoyed fishing and his daily coffee at the Sand Sprit Park with his retired friends. Kenneth enjoyed going on cruises with his friends in Florida. He will be sadly missed by his five children: Debra Hood of Austintown, Larry (Janice) Hood of Austintown, Joseph (Jody) Hood of Canfield, Leane (Ronald) Gaskins of Austintown and Ray (Carla) Hood of Canfield; eight grandchildren: Lauren, Michael, Kristen, Kasey, Raymond, Jade, Alec, and Aaron; and his close and personal friends and adopted family: Ed, Rose and Paul Occhipinti of Lady Lake, FL. Besides his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by a brother Barry Hood. The family suggests the memorial contributions be made to MVI Hospice, 4891 Belmont Ave, Youngstown, OH 44505, in Kenneth's name.
