L. Mae Alexander

Niles- Funeral services will be at a later date in Prattville, AL. for L. Mae Alexander age 84 of Shepherd of the Valley in Niles who died Friday morning at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born April 30, 1919 in Elmore County, AL. and was the daughter of J. Miles and Ethel I (Hall) Colley. She had retired from Montgomery Wards a number of years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Dianne and her husband James Stoddard of Mineral Ridge, Patricia Clark of Nokesville, VA, a son Robert and his wife Lynn Alexander of Rye Brook, NY, three sisters Elizabeth Hammett of Ormond Beach, FL, Mary Brown and Louise Gewirtzman both of Montgomery, AL.,four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Hazel Colley and three brothers Erby, Jr., Chuck, Ted. and J.O. Colley Local arrangements by Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel.
