Services will be held 11 am Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for LaMar Kale, 77 of Sebring Florida, formerly of Canfield Ohio, who passed away Thursday evening in Tampa General Hospital. LaMar was born August 5, 1928 in Youngstown the son of Harry E. and Laura (Rakestraw) Kale. He worked for Johnson Controls and was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local #87 in Youngstown for 30 years retiring in 1990. LaMar attended Greenford Christian Church, a member of the Union Congregational Church of Avon Park Fla. He was a member of The Knights of Pythians in Berlin Center, the Masonic Lodge #615 in Youngstown and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. LaMar leaves his wife, the former Edith Schrum whom he married September 19, 1953, one brother Harry E. Kale of Youngstown, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, three sisters; Mabel Jones, Ruth Harris, and Mary Leonard preceded LaMar in death. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Monday at the Lane Funeral Home in Austintown.
